Kitchen Removal, Gawler East

Another job recently completed was this one done in December 2011 at Gawler East. This was the original kitchen, built with the house 32 years ago – totally showing it’s age!

This job required the kitchen cabinets, benchtops, sink and tiles to be removed. Electrical goods were disconnected by a licenced electrician and also included in removal.

The photo below shows how we left the job – every last piece of kitchen removed, the entire room swept and vaccuumed (right through to the front door). The client was very happy with the speed and cleanliness that it took to complete the job, with nothing further needing to be done before the installation of the new kitchen.

Bathroom Renovation – Barossa Valley Demolition

Have you been thinking about updating your bathroom? Here’s a little inspiration if you’re not really sure if you want to make the change, at a property in the Barossa Valley. Take a look at this ugly, pokey bathroom and separate toilet (the demolition is underway, with the bath and tiles already having been removed).

Below you’ll see that the wall dividing the bathroom and toilet has been removed, opening up the area giving the bathroom a much more spacious feel.

And the owner has allowed us to take a follow up photo after the completion of the bathroom, with new tiles, bath, vanity, toilet etc.

What an amazing transformation. This bathroom is beautiful, clean and fresh looking, with a luxurious bath and a frameless shower out of camera shot. So don’t hesitate any longer. This is proof of what amazing transformations can be made with just a little creativity, some time and of course a few dollars, but well worth it!

Removal Of Ceramic Tiles – Lewiston

Here’s a job recently completed in Lewiston, near Gawler – South Australia. The living room had ceramic tiles adhered to the floor. The owners wanted to have them removed to make way for a new timber floor.

Just starting on the job (we use a plastic wheelbarrow to be sure not to damage walls or door-frames etc).

The ceramic tiles are being lifted and removed as we go, taking care to prevent damage to skirting boards, sliding doors or combustion heater.

This tile adhesive is very strong and difficult to remove, requiring a jack-hammer to bring the surface back to the original slab level. This is dirty, dusty work, performed mostly on the knees!

And the end result – a clean slab surface, ready to undergo a new look. We always leave the job as clean as possible. If you have a similar job that needs doing, please contact us

Removal Of Ceiling

This client wanted their very out-dated ceiling removed so that they could give their home a modern make-over. Many older transportable homes used these composite tiles for the ceilings. As well as being unattractive, these ceiling tiles are quite flammable.

Bathroom Demolition Barossa Valley

Here are some photos of a recent demolition of a bathroom in the Barossa Valley. A non load-bearing wall between the small existing bathroom and seperate toilet was removed to allow much more space for the bathroom.

All old fittings were also removed, including the bath, shower, toilet and vanity to give the owners a clean slate to start rebuilding their new bathroom.

Old Extension Removal – Barossa Valley

The demolition of this ugly extension on this old symmetrical cottage at Eden Valley ( Barossa Valley) left the owners with a clean slate to get started with their new extension. The demolition and removal of all materials – back to the cement slab – took less than a day to complete.

Below we have a photo of the rear of the cottage ( from the owners when they first purchased the property), then with work in progress and finally with the old extension completely removed.

The owners replaced the original roof before having the extension removed.

And finally, the old extension completely removed and all materials cleared.
